About me & the Delaware Magical Wishes Association

Hi! I’m James Cayz.

I’m the treasurer and secretary of the Delaware Magical Wishes Association (DMWA). (more info below)

If you are looking to purchase our exclusive All-In Paddle Holders, We sell All-In Paddle Holders for a $5 donation to the DMWA, so you don’t have to continuously hold your All-In Paddle up all night. And, whereas they should ONLY hold All-In paddles during our event, they will also hold up photos, memos, and children’s drawings once you take them home!

If you are interested in purchasing one or more, please send an email info@delawaremagicalwishes.org with your name & delivery address.

I tend to be obsessive on details, which drives many of my friends crazy, but it does mean that I tend to notice things. With regards to Quarter Auctions, which is the primary method that the DMWA uses to raise money, my wife and I attend many quarter auctions per year – not only to support the organizations, but to see what new innovations others have implemented. We pick what we consider to the best & incorporate them into our future events.

By writing this up, it will serve as the cookbook for our future events.
By making this public, we hope to make Quarter Auctions more enjoyable for our guests and other Quarter Auction organizers.

About the Delaware Magical Wishes Association – “Where Disney Fans Help Kids”

In 2013, a cadre of volunteers worked to put on the first Give Kids The World Delaware event, held in Newark over the weekend of November 1-3. In 2015, we formed the Delaware Magical Wishes Association** as a non-profit organization in order to make donations & sponsorships easier for our guests and corporate partners.

None of the twelve Delaware Magical Wishes Association members get paid for any of their activities, and 100% of the net proceeds of our fundraising goes directly to the Give Kids The World Village. As a matter of fact, the only deductions from our income are for things like payments for hall fees & supplies. Other costs such as website costs, transportation, and of course, the labor of all the Delaware Magical Wishes Association volunteers, is given without compensation.
